On behalf of the Nordic Wittgenstein Society, we hereby express our strong support for the plans that Luster kommune would acquire and preserve the site of Ludwig Wittgenstein's hut above Eidsvatnet in Skjolden. Such a decision would be a cultural achievement of lasting importance from a global, European, Nordic and local perspective.
